This study aims to examine the revitalization of Ramadan study circles through a contextual approach based on local culture in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI). The focus of this research is to understand how Ramadan study sessions can be utilized as a learning medium that is relevant to the social and cultural life of students, as well as to develop a learning model based on local culture. The research uses a qualitative method with a literature review, collecting data from accredited international and national journals, academic books, and proceedings. The findings show that integrating local culture into Ramadan study circles can enrich students' learning experiences, enhance teachers' professional competence, and create a more contextual and meaningful learning environment. This study concludes that the contextual approach based on local culture can strengthen the relevance of religious education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and contribute practically to the development of a more adaptive Islamic Education curriculum that aligns with local socio-cultural contexts.
