Peningkatan Literasi Digital Masyarakat Desa Mompang dalam Mendukung Pembangunan Sosial dan Ekonomi di Padangsidimpuan

Abstract

Mompang Village, Padangsidimpuan City, still faces limited access to and utilization of information technology, which hampers socio-economic development. Low digital literacy exacerbates the information gap, reduces digital economic opportunities, and increases vulnerability to hoaxes. Improving the digital literacy of the Mompang Village community through an integrated community service (CSP) program and evaluating its impact on social and economic empowerment. This CSP uses an action research approach with three main stages: (1) Socialization; (2) Intensive training; (3) Post-training mentoring. The CSP program "Improving Digital Literacy for the Mompang Village Community" concluded that it successfully improved digital competence and drove behavioral changes that contributed to the village's socio-economic development. Further efforts are needed, including the provision of adequate internet devices and infrastructure, as well as advanced training modules tailored to educational levels.
