Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the communication strategies used by fathers in interacting with early childhood children to foster self-confidence. At Yayasan HJ. Animah Perguruan Ar-Raihan Martubung, the interaction between fathers and children plays a crucial role in shaping character and self-esteem. Through a qualitative approach utilizing interviews and observations, this research finds that effective communication strategies include open dialogue, positive reinforcement, and the application of play-based methods. Results indicate that good communication can enhance children's self-confidence, positively impacting their social and emotional development. This research suggests that fathers should actively engage in the communication process and create a supportive environment.
